Minister

The Rev Dr Andrew G N Wilson MA BD DMin Andrew Wilson has recently celebrated 30 years in the Ministry of the Church of Scotland. He served as assistant minister in Dundee Parish Church (St Mary's) and was minister at Freeland Church, Bridge of Weir from 1978 - 1987 when he became minister at Rubislaw Church. Andrew is chaplain at St Margaret's School for Girls, Aberdeen, and one of a team of chaplains at Aberdeen Grammar School and Aberdeen College.

Mrs Anita Van der Wal joined us in October 2006 for her fourth placement in her training for the Ministry of the Church of Scotland. Anita is Dutch and studied Theology in Gereformeerde Kerken in Nederland, Kampen. From 1991 to 1998 she was a Chaplain in a nursing home in Drachten. When the family moved to Scotland she became a member and elder at Aboyne and Dinnet Church and since moving to Aberdeen has been a member at Ferryhill Parish Church. Anita became a Candidate in Training for the Ministry of the Church of Scotland in 2004. Since then she has undertaken further study at the University of Aberdeen with training placements at Ferryhill Church, New Stockethill Church and ARI.
